According to Diwan FM, which reports the declarations of a source from the National Society of Tunisian Railways (SNCFT), the scenes of vandalism and chaos were committed by a group of young people, attacating SNCFT agents, equipment as well as the police and panicing among the travelers.

The source cited by Diwan FM confirmed that the authors were part of a group of young people aged 16 to 25. The police intervened to try to restore calm and limit material damage.
