According to Radio Kef, several people suspected of belonging to the organization of Ansar Sharia Forbidden, would have been arrested this Friday, October 24, morning in the Nefza delegation in the governorate of Beja following a sweeping operation.
This operation carried out by security forces began this morning with descents. It is thanks to the arrest of a suspect affiliated with Ansar Sharia that eight other alleged members of this organization were arrested, according to the Radio Kef correspondent.
Eight young people arrested in Nabeul
In addition, eight young people were reportedly arrested this Thursday, October 23, evening in Nabeul, for belonging to a prohibited terrorist organization (without further details) according to a security source, the TAP agency reported.
Several computers who were in the possession of one of the suspects were seized and the investigations continue while waiting to refer the suspects to justice.
All these arrests are involved following a security campaign launched by the security forces in Nefza and Nabeul and in the neighboring cities.
