Clashes and prosecution between several young demonstrators and the police broke out yesterday night in the Riadh district of the city of Sousse.
These clashes arise after a young man of around 26 years old, from the region, immune by fire in front of the Riadh district police station for reasons still unknown, reports Mosaic FM.
He suffered serious burns requiring his admission to intensive care to the emergency department of the Sahloul university hospital. Medical sources previously described his state as “very critical”.
The demonstrators tried to burn the police station by targeting it with Molotov cocktails and fireworks, but the intervention of the police prevented this. Calm finally returned to the region late at night.
