After the “affair” Faouzi Elloumi, Nidaa Tounes is faced with another controversy, that concerning the resignation of Cert ains members of the regional office of the party in Kalaâ Kebira in the governorate of Sousse.

Partial and non -collective resignation according to Ahmed Achour

Ahmed Achour, a member of the regional coordination of Nidaa Tounes, intervened this Friday, August 22, on the air of radio Jawhara FM in order to give details on these resignations to Kalâa Kebira.

“Some members have decided to leave Nidaa Tounes, but it is wrong to affirm that it is a collective resignation. Among the 32 members of the regional office, the quorum remains insufficient and the number of resigners is not high enough to consider the act as a collective resignation, “he said in particular without specifying the number of resigners.

We tried to contact several members of the party in order to shed light on this new case.

Mr. Ridha Charfeddine, head of the Nidaa Tounes list in Sousse, turned out to be on the move in Egypt with the Etoile du Sahel, a club he presides over and who has to play in African competition this Saturday. He was unreachable.

We contacted the party’s headquarters to find out the name of the deputy person Mr. Charfeddine. All the people contacted and belonging to the party were not reachable, except one who was kind enough to tell us that the businesswoman Zohra Driss replaced Mr. Charfeddine. Contacted in turn, Ms. Driss was unreachable.

The reasons for resignations are unknown

In addition, Mohsen Marzouk, in Tunis, was not yet aware of resignations. “We are in the process of collecting the information and I cannot, at present, pronounce on a collective resignation or not. It may only be a few resignations, “he said.

In this new controversy, the reasons invoked are not clear. The resigning members would have expressed their dissatisfaction with their “marginalization by party leadership”.
