According to seismological data, the shock was detected at 6:29 p.m. (local time) to the north latitude 34.56 ° coordinates and 9.66 ° East longitude. Its epicenter was located about 7 kilometers south-east of Meknassy, at a depth of 4.9 kilometers.
It should be remembered that this is the sixth seismic shock listed in the region since the beginning of 2025.
