The customs services at the melloula border post have thwarted an attempted traffic of nearly 4,500 Ecstasy tablets.

Indeed, customs agents at the melloula border post intercepted a large quantity of drugs carefully hidden aboard a vehicle registered abroad.

During the inspection of this car at the exit point of Tunisian territory, around 4,500 ecstasy tablets were discovered in various compartments of the dashboard and the engine, in addition to 140 grams of crushed tablets of the same substance.

A seizure report has been established, and coordination with the prosecution enabled the transfer of the file to the competent security services to continue the investigation.
