The Ministry of the Interior is continuing its large -scale security campaigns. Yesterday it was Sfax’s turn to know a large operation of this kind.
Indeed, within the framework of the continuation of large -scale security operations and the hunt for dangerous criminal elements, in particular those active in drug trafficking and irregular migration, the units of the National Security and the National Guard, under the direct supervision of the high security authorities, carried out a large -scale simultaneous security operation.
This operation, which continued until dawn on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the governorate of Sfax, was carried out in coordination with the public prosecutor.
She resulted in the following results:
• The arrest of 633 individuals involved in criminal activities,
• the entry of 7 hunting rifles held without authorization,
• The confiscation of 7 cars, 15 motorcycles, various quantities of astounding substances, sums of money as well as white weapons.
