The civil protection teams are continuing their efforts to control the massive fire that broke out in the early hours of the morning today in a wood factory located on the Qarmada road, km 9, in Sfax.
According to Ziad Sidi, regional civil protection director in Sfax, 12 fire trucks have been mobilized from Sfax as well as 4 neighboring governorates, namely Mahdia, Kairouan, Sidi Bouzid and Gabès, in addition to a fireplace at Sfax airport truck.
Civil protection also strives to secure the seat of the administration and the surroundings, preventing the flames from achieving it.
