The regional director of religious affairs in Kairouan, Salah Dhouibi, announced on Wednesday September 3, 2025 the programming of 263 religious activities On the occasion of the celebration of the Mouled, the birth of the Prophet.
In a declaration on national radio, he said that this program extends over the 13 delegations of the governorate and includes courses, religious and Koranic readings and fences, as well as competitions.
Salah Dhouibi also stressed that the Kairouan region is distinguished by the preservation of this spiritual heritage, taking into account its particular status in the Islamic world, especially in North Africa.
