Tunis Transport Society (TransTU) announced, Friday, that the circulation of the TGM line will be interrupted Sunday September 7, 2025 between the stations “Kheireddine” and “La Marsa Plage” due to the installation of the supports of the Carthage Hannibal bridge.
The works, programmed at the 15,990 kilometric point, requires a partial suspension of traffic between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The train service will normally continue on the rest of the course, between “Tunis Marine” and “La Goulette Casino”.
Substitution measures
To overcome this interruption, TransTU announces a strengthening of the bus line n ° 347, with more frequent services, especially during rush hour, between “Tunis Marine” and “Sidi Bou Saïd”.
Road traffic
The road will also be closed at the Hannibal bridge between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Vehicles from Sidi Bou Saïd will have to take the Amilcar bridge then Avenue Habib Bourguiba.
Those from La Goulette towards the Marsa will also have to go through the Amilcar bridge.
