Basic unions attached to the Local Labor Union of OM Laârayes announced a general strike for Thursday, February 20, 2025.
This mobilization follows a criticism of public means of public transport and the shortcomings of the local hospital, unable to provide sufficient care for the population.
The strikers claim the strengthening of the public transport network, the creation of a civil protection center and the improvement of hospital infrastructure, in particular through the equipment and recruitment of the necessary medical staff.
