The civil protection units of the Ghardimaou region, under the governorate of Jendouba, intervened this Tuesday, December 24, 2024 to evacuate the rainwater accumulated within six dwellings.

In a press release published on its official Facebook page, the Jendouba regional civil protection directorate said that precipitation, which started last night and continued throughout the day, led to significant infiltration of water in several houses located in the El Bransia area, on the outskirts of Ghardimaou.

Following the distress calls received by the Local Civil Protection Unit of Ghardimaou, a rescue team was dispatched to the scene. After inspection, the team was pumping waters in six dwellings.

It should be noted that the amount of rain recorded in the Ghardimaou delegation has been significant, reaching 45 mm.
