In the LTDG premises (Tunisian Human Rights League) in Gabès, eight unemployed graduates have started a hunger strike since February 27. They protest against their current social situation declared to us this Monday, March 16, Salem Ayari, secretary general of the Union of unemployed graduates (UDC).

Mr. Ayari announced that these eight unemployed, six men and two women have started this hunger strike for 18 days because of their situation of “long -term unemployed”.

The secretary general of the UDC added that several Solidarity Caravans of Tunis and the other regions of Tunisia in support of these eight graduates, will go to LTDH headquarters on Wednesday, March 18 in Gabès.
