The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received this Wednesday afternoon November 13, 2024, at the Palais de Carthage, Khaled Shili Minister of National Defense.
During this interview, the president welcomed the efforts made by the armed forces, not only to defend the fatherland, but also to support state initiatives in various sectors.
Among the subjects discussed, there was talk of the transfer of certain sections of the Hédi Chaker hospital to a wing of the Sfax military hospital, with a view to making the necessary renovations in the first establishment mentioned.
The President of the Republic also agreed for the creation of a campaign hospital in coordination with the Ministry of Health, in Bir Ali Ben Khalifa, pending the renovation of the local hospital.
