Faced with unfavorable climatic conditions, the governor of Jendouba, Hichem Hassoumi, announced the extension of the suspension of courses in all educational institutions in the region for the day of Saturday January 18, 2025.
The same measure applies to training and rehabilitation centers.
This decision follows the persistent rains and the rise in the level of rivers in several areas, increasing the risks of landslides, floods and traffic disruptions. The National Meteorology Institute issued alerts, thus justifying this prudent measure.
The governor also recalled the importance of vigilance for road users and residents of areas close to rivers, inviting them to be cautious and get closer to the competent authorities if necessary to ensure their safety.
