Faced with running water shortages, the regional committee responsible for combating frequent interruptions of drinking water supply in the governorate of Kef has decided to reorganize the distribution system in certain districts.
This system provides for a continuous distribution of drinking water for 24 hours, from eight in the morning until the next day at the same time, followed by a 24 -hour cut to allow the supply of Esskhr and Chrichi districts.
During an extraordinary meeting held yesterday, Thursday, the participants discussed the situation of water in the city of Kef and agreed to set up a system of alternating quotas for the districts of Hay Hached and Aïn Mnekh.
Sonede subscribers will therefore receive drinking water according to their geographic location.
This program could be modified in the event of unforeseen events such as breakdowns or power cuts, as indicated in a press release from the Kef governorate.
