The units of the National Guard of Jebeniana, in the governorate of Sfax, recently arrested two individuals suspected of being involved in a network facilitating illegal immigration in Tunisia.
The intervention took place with the collaboration of specialized units of the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigations.
According to a press release published this Sunday by the Directorate General of the National Guard, the arrest of the first suspect made it possible to obtain information leading to the identification and arrest of the other members of the group.
On the instruction of the prosecution, the two suspects were placed in police custody and the necessary legal measures were taken from them.
