The secretary general of the governorate of Kasserine, Sofiane Dhouioui, confirmed that the regional disaster management commission has decided to suspend courses in all schools in the governorate of Kasserine, Friday January 17 and Saturday January 18, 2025, due to the climatic conditions and snowfall recorded in several delegations from the region.
He also stressed that the governor of the region has given instructions to mobilize all the means necessary for the benefit of the regional commission in order to intervene if necessary.
Several regions of the governorate of Kasserine have experienced significant snowfall, especially in the Aïn Jenane region, under the delegation of Foussana and Thala.
Recall that the same decision was made yesterday in Jendouba where the Regional Commission for the Prevention and Fight against Disasters announced the suspension of courses in all the educational institutions of the governorate.
