Under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, the One Day One Dream association is organizing a free health caravan for the benefit of the residents of Médenine, particularly the deprivated people.
This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the regional delegations of health, and social affairs and the security authorities of the localities of Houmet Souk, Beni Khedach and Médenine.
The health caravan will be established at:
-Beni Khedach regional hospital in the following specialties: gynecology, pediatrics, skin infections, cardiovascular diseases and thyroid diseases.
– The Sadok Mkaddem hospital in Houmet Souk in specialties: skin infections, gynecology, radiology, orthopedic diseases, thyroid diseases, gastric pathologies, nutrition diseases.
-The Médenine University Hospital in specialties: ophthalmology, cardiovascular diseases, skin diseases, thyroid diseases, orthopedic diseases, pediatric surgery, with the mobilization of resuscitator doctors and anesthetists.
The inhabitants of Médenine will be taken care of free of charge in these centers. For the specialty of ophthalmology, a number of 30 patients will be supported by a private establishment in Djerba.
