The Sousse Customs Guardian Services seized in the first three months of 2023 smuggling goods worth 33.7 million dinars.
The services of the third unit of the Sousse Customs Guardian drew during the first quarter of this year, 977 PV against 644 during the same period of 2022, an increase of 52%.
The value of smuggling goods entered, moreover, doubled: from 16.5 million dinars during the first quarter of 2022, the value of the goods entered reached 33.7 billion during the first three months of 2023.
Quantities of gold, silver, copper, car spare parts, ready-to-wear, smuggling cigarettes and subsidized products have been requisitioned, in addition to money in Tunisian dinars.
