Significantly colder weather sets in this Wednesday with dense clouds and sometimes heavy rain, especially in the North-West. Hail is possible in some exposed areas. The wind will strengthen at the end of the day, making the sea very rough in the North.
Marked cold, stormy rain and widespread showers
According to the forecast, the sky will be heavy with locally stormy showers over the coastal regions of the North-West, before extending in the afternoon to the rest of the North, then more weakly towards the Center and the South-East.
Hail episodes remain likely in places, accentuating the unstable nature of the day. Temperatures continue to drop, with maximums between 13 and 18°C and around 10°C in the western heights, where the feeling of cold will be reinforced.
Strengthening wind
The westerly wind will be weak to moderate in the morning, then increase in intensity near the coasts in the afternoon, before strengthening further on the heights during the night, with gusts of up to 60 km/h. At sea, conditions will be difficult in the North with marked swells, while the Eastern coasts will experience more moderate but persistent agitation.
This deterioration occurs in a seasonal phase where the first cold disturbances become more frequent.
