As part of the fight against organized crime and the hunt for drug trafficking networks, the security units in the Tunis national security district led, under the direct supervision of senior security managers, a vast coordinated security operation.
This operation, which is a continuation of large -scale security actions, took place simultaneously in several districts of the capital, from Thursday evening to the first hours of this Friday, April 11, 2025, in close collaboration with the public prosecutor.
The assessment is significant: 72 dangerous classified individuals have been arrested. The police have also seized large amounts of drugs as well as money of various values, probably from illicit activities of dismantled networks.
This operation confirms the determination of the Tunisian authorities to continue the fight tirelessly against drug trafficking and criminal networks that threaten public security.
