The director of culture, childhood, youth, sports and social affairs of the municipality of Tunis, Khaled Ben Yedder, announced this Thursday, June 5, 2025 that a revision of the tariffs applied for the celebration of weddings in the space of the Belvédère basin is envisaged.
Intervening on national radio waves, Ben Yedder returned to a declaration made the day before, in which he claimed that the prices charged in Kobbet Enahhas were higher than those of the belvedere. He recognized that this statement was inaccurate.
He said that the price for an hour and a half at Kobbet Enahas amounts to 1,400 dinars, not 4,000 dinars for an hour as he initially indicated.
Ben Yedder also stressed that “this space is private, and cannot therefore be compared to a public space like that of the Belvedere”.
As a reminder, in a previous declaration, he indicated that the rental of the wedding space would cost 2,500 dinars from May to October, and 1,500 dinars the rest of the year.
