It is expected that the national coordination of unemployed university graduates, the duration of unemployment of which has been extended, is organizing a national action on April 8 and 9 to claim employment.
In a press release, coordination called for all the unemployed to participate massively in this action, followed by an open sit-in, as a pressure measure to obtain a response to their legitimate requests.
The press release specifies that “this mobilization follows the persistent ignorance of the State towards their legitimate employment rights”, stressing their “determination to continue peaceful climbing until the satisfaction of their demands concerning employment and dignity”.
It should be noted that a certain number of unemployed graduates had organized, on February 19, a peaceful demonstration on the Place de la Kasbah to demand a radical and final solution, regularize their situation and integrate them into the public service or the public sector, ending precarious employment.
