On the occasion of the International Labor Day, the Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT) called all workers, workers, trade unionists and solidarity citizens to participate massively in the workers’ rally on May 1, 2025, which will be held from 9:30 am on Place Mohamed Ali Hammi in Tunis.
In an official press release published this Friday, the Central Union said that the Secretary General of the UGTT, Noureddine Taboubi, will pronounce an address at the opening of the rally, returning both to social demands, the national economic situation, and the challenges of international solidarity.
At the end of the speech, the participants will take part in a symbolic working -class march, in support of the Palestinian people, from Place Mohamed Ali to the place of January 14, 2011.
