In a context of acute humanitarian distress in the Gaza Strip, the National Council of the Order of Physicians in Tunisia, by the voice of its president Dr Rym Ghachem Attia, launched an urgent appeal for the mobilization of health professionals to participate in a humanitarian land convoy scheduled for June 9, 2025. Entitled “قافلة الصم – Caravan of resilience”.
Title: A medical caravan to Gaza: Urgent call for volunteers launched in Tunisia
This mission aims to provide sanitary aid and psychosocial support to the populations seriously affected by current conflicts.
The caravan, organized in coordination with the platform “Coordination of Joint Action for Palestine / تنسية العمل المشترك من أجل فلسطين”, is looking for a wide range of health professionals, in particular:
Specialized doctors: emergency workers, general practitioners, surgeons (orthopedic, visceral, plastic and restorative, maxillofacial), anesthetists-resuscitators, psychiatrists, child psychiatrists, gynecologists and neurosurgeonians. Paramedical staff: emergency nurses, operating room nurses, anesthesia technicians.
The objective is to constitute a solid medical team, capable of meeting the urgent needs of a proven population, in cruel lack of care, specialized surgical interventions and psychological support.
Interested volunteers are invited to demonstrate their interest on June 2, 2025.
