She praised the positive reaction of the Ministry of Health which made it possible to avoid a crisis in the sector, paying tribute to all young doctors for their efforts and their mobilization throughout the movement.

As a reminder, the young doctors had started a strike a few days ago, preceded by a series of protests and a total boycott of the choice of internship places. Their mobilization aimed to claim a wage improvement and payment of late childcare allowances.

The strike concerned all of the university hospital activities, including the academic courses of the complementary program, with the exception of guards and emergency services, in order to guarantee a minimum front line service.

We learn that the main points of the agreement concern:

  • Payment of all childcare allowances and their revaluation,, Payment becomes monthly
  • Increase in several premiums, in particular a risk premium
  • Increase in wages from 2026
  • Revision of the internship approval process ;
  • The revaluation of the remuneration of the national service ;
