The minister announced several measures. Specialized units will be created throughout the country to treat stroke and Alzheimer’s disease. The ministry also plans to use telemedicine and modern technologies more. Prevention programs will be strengthened.
A National Commission for Brain Health will soon see the light of day. It will bring together public actors and associations. Its objective: to better coordinate efforts, strengthen the training of medical staff and advance care.
The minister insisted on the need to make a rapid diagnosis, especially in the event of a stroke. He also wants better management for patients with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis or neurological disorders in children. Digital will play a key role in this device.
