The National Institute of Meteorology (INM) announced a marked rainy episode for this Saturday, with locally intense showers likely to be stormy or torrential, particularly in the south of the country.
The first rains are expected in the morning in the South-West regions, before gradually reaching the South-East, in particular the governorates of Gabès and Sfax. In the afternoon, precipitation will spread towards the Center and the North-West, where the INM also forecasts local hail.
Temperatures will drop slightly, with maximums between 18 and 22°C in the North and the heights, and between 23 and 28°C elsewhere.
The wind will blow from the East sector over the North and the Center, and from the West sector over the South. It will be relatively strong near the eastern coasts and in the South, while gusts exceeding 80 km/h may occur in thunderstorms.
