The Tunis Transport Society (TransTU) has today received the second and last batch of 85 French used buses, as part of a donation encompassing a total of 165 buses.
As part of the donation agreement signed on January 27, 2025 between the Tunis Transport Company (TransTU), the Île-de-France Mobilités establishment and the Autonomous Paris Transport Régie (RATP), the TransTU received, this Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the second and last batch of this donation, composed of 85 buses, thus bringing the total to 165 buses after the reception of the first batch on April 14, 2025.
These buses are ecological and environmentally friendly, and have been specially equipped to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility, with the presence of an automatic ramp facilitating access.
They also have an efficient ventilation system (six dynamic fans), air conditioning for certain models, a video surveillance system as well as an automatic transmission system.
