This Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the head of the government, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, led a ministerial council at the Palais de la Kasbah. The meeting focused on the financial balance of the 2026 finance bill.

The budget seeks to combine social justice and economic growth. The government plans to recruit in the public service to create jobs. He also wants to fight against precarious work and abusive subcontracting. Several reforms must guarantee worthy work and better social protection.

The project aims to help vulnerable people and low -income families. It promotes their economic integration and improves their living conditions. Essential public services, such as health, education and transport, will be better accessible.

The government intends to support public investment fairly. This support will respect the national development plan. The emphasis will be placed on renewable energies and the integration of the informal economy. The project is also based on local and regional councils to adapt actions to the field.

Finally, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri insisted on the need for lasting balance. The budget must reconcile the social role of the State and economic growth. The goal is to build a fairer and prosperous Tunisia.
