The total quantity of cereals collected at the national level reached, on July 31, 2025, approximately 11.780 million quintalsexceeding the average of the last five campaigns, according to a press release published by the Cereal Office.
The distribution according to use reports 11.079 million quintals intended for consumption (ie 94 %) and 0.702 million quintals of selected seeds (or 6 %), a proportion higher than that recorded at the same period of previous seasons.
Regarding consumption cereals, the collection was distributed as follows:
- 7.538 million quintals of durum wheat,,
- 0.578 million quintals of tender wheat,,
- 2,921 million quintals of barley,,
- 0.043 million quintals of triticale.
For selected seeds:
- 0.618 million quintals of durum wheat,,
- 0.063 million quintals of tender wheat,,
- 0.020 million quintals of barley,,
- 0.001 million quintals of triticale.
On the regional level, the governorate of Béja comes first with 2,803 million quintals (or 23.79 % of the total), followed by:
- Bizerte with 1.792 million quintals,,
- Siliana with 1.571 million,,
- Kef with 1,373 million,,
- Jendouba with 1,270 million.
Other governorates have recorded variable quantities:
- Zaghouan : 757,000 QX
- Kairouan : 725,000 QX
- Manouba : 649,000 QX
- Nabeul : 231,000 QX
- Kasserine : 210,000 QX
- Ariana : 144,000 QX
- Sidi Bouzid : 138,000 QX
- Gafsa : 92,000 QX
- Sousse : 24,000 QX
- Mahdia : 2,000 QX.
