Bad weather is expected from this Wednesday afternoon in several regions of Western Tunisian, according to a monitoring form published by the National Institute of Meteorology (INM).
KEF, Siliana, Kasserine, Gafsa, as well as the western areas of Kairouan and Sidi Bouzid will be particularly affected by stormy cells accompanied by locally intense rains and hail falls.
The accumulation of rain could reach between 20 and 40 mm, specifies the INM. These rainy episodes will also be accompanied by strong winds, which can temporarily blow up to 70 km/h under thunderstorms.
INM calls for vigilance in risk areas, especially in the case of sudden floods or falls of objects caused by gusts of wind.
