The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, led the Tunisian delegation on August 25, 2025 to the extraordinary meeting of foreign affairs of the organization of Islamic cooperation, devoted to the situation in the Gaza Strip.
He recalled the constant position of Tunisia in favor of the rights of the Palestinian people and the creation of an independent state with Al Quds for capital. The Minister called for an international mobilization, especially within the UN, in order to put an end to violence and guarantee the protection of civilians.
He also underlined the need for urgent humanitarian aid and financial support for the reconstruction of Gaza, while emphasizing the importance of an Arab, Islamic and international collective action in the face of Israeli colonization policies.
Finally, Mohamed Ali Nafti expressed the wish for this meeting to send a clear message to the international community in favor of peace, justice and stability in the region.
