A Tunisian economic delegation traveled to Warsaw and Skierniewice on October 21 and 22, 2025, to participate in the first Tunisian-Polish Economic Forum and explore new prospects for commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

A forum to bring together businesses from the two countries

Organized by the Tunisian Embassy in Warsaw, the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce (WIG) and the Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIT), the forum brought together representatives of Tunisian and Polish companies from various sectors: textiles, agri-food, information technology, automobile components, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industry and services.

B2B meetings, institutional presentations and networking sessions made it possible to identify several concrete partnership opportunities.

A first Tunisian mission in Warsaw

Led by Moncef Ben Jomaa, president of the CCIT, the Tunisian delegation included the Tunisian ambassador in Warsaw, Taoufik Chebbi, as well as representatives of CEPEX, FIPA and ONTT.

According to the Tunisian embassy, this initiative constitutes the first Tunisian business mission organized in Warsaw and is part of a strategy to revive economic exchanges and explore new markets in Central Europe.

On the second day, the delegation visited the town of Skierniewice in the Łódź region, where it met with the vice-president of the voivodeship, Piotr Wojtysiak. The discussions focused on agricultural cooperation, scientific research and strategic industries.

The mission also visited the VEFI company, specializing in packaging solutions and innovative agricultural systems, as well as the National Horticultural Research Institute (InHort), in order to explore synergies in research and technology transfer.

A booming cooperation

This economic mission marks an important step in the consolidation of Tunisian-Polish relations. It paves the way for concrete projects between private operators and public institutions, particularly in the areas of sustainable agriculture, research and high value-added industries.
