The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) announces the entry into circulation, from October 17, 2025, of a new 10 dinar note (2020 type). This note retains the same designs, features and security features as those currently in circulation, with some notable differences.
The new features of the ticket
- Date of issue: replaced by “25-07-2025” instead of “20-03-2020”, printed in larger characters.
- Signatures: now those of Governor Fethi Zouhaier Nouri and Vice-Governor Mourad Abdessalem.
The new 10 dinar note will coexist with existing notes of the same type and denomination, retaining its legal tender and its issuing power. The BCT specifies that this issue aims to strengthen the security and reliability of the national currency.
