The joint national campaign for the control of school supplies, carried out on September 2, 2025 by the trade, interior, customs and health services, made it possible to enter more than 22,000 articles and to be 263 offenses in the large and detail distribution circuits.
A total of 1456 visits were made in various wholesale and retail points of sale, announces today the Ministry of Trade and Development of Exports in a press release.
The mixed teams carried out targeted checks to ensure the compliance and transparency of school supplies marketed as you approach the start of the school year.
A large -scale operation
The campaign allowed the confiscation of 9016 units of various school supplies (pens, glues, modeling pasta, paintings, etc.), not in accordance with the standards in force; 13,526 subsidized notebooks, hidden for speculation and grabbing purposes.
Multiple offenses
The control agents have drawn up 263 minutes, in particular on the non-use of prices; the absence of purchase invoices; refusal of sale; concealment and grazing of goods; the sale packaged; the absence of a declaration of activity; the holding of products not in accordance with the regulations.
