The accusation chamber specializing in terrorism affairs with the Tunis Court of Appeal decided, this Friday, September 26, 2025, to return the ex-minister and former presidential candidate, Mondher Zenaidi before the criminal chamber in matters of terrorism of the Tunis court of first instance.

According to information communicated by the anti -terrorist judicial center and reported by Mosaique FM, an investigation warrant was opened against the former minister for suspicions of constitution of a group with a view to plotting against state security, formation of a terrorist organization, but also of incentive to join, insurrection, disobedience and internal security damage.
These prosecution finds their origin in the broadcast of videos on a page of social networks bearing the name of Mondher Zenaidi, in which he would have explicitly called to the insurrection against the regime in place, his institutions and the President of the Republic. These content led to its registration on the list of persons sought by the anti -terrorist justice.
With this decision, the case will now be educated before the specialized criminal chamber, which will have to examine the counts in depth and rule on the responsibility of the former minister.

Remember thata mandate to bring international had been issued By the cluster of control against terrorism, on October 4, 2024, against Mondher Zenaidi, but also against Rafik Abdessalem, Anis Ben Dhaou and Thameur Bedida, due to publications, including videos, on social networks.
In September 2024, Mondher Zenaidi had been accused of several crimesin particular the training of a terrorist organization, incentive to join it and a conspiracy against the security of the state. Since then, he has been registered on the list of people wanted.
