The specialist in embryology, Dr. Hatem Ghazal, (having raised the question of manipulation of choices from university orientation to KEF) said that pupil Mohamed Abidi was finally oriented towards the Monastir Faculty of Medicineafter a wave of solidarity aroused by his initial assignment to the Faculty of Letters of Kairouan, despite his excellence in the baccalaureate.
Dr. Ghazal also indicated that the orientation of the other students concerned was rectified, following the discovery of a hint of hacking of the university orientation system.
In addition, the prosecution ordered the opening of surveys on the reports received, and the file was entrusted to the fifth central brigade in charge of computer crimes in El Aouina.
For its part, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was committed to opening an in -depth administrative investigation to shed light on manipulations and intrusions that targeted the university orientation platform.
A row of national solidarity
The case of Mohamed Abidi aroused great emotion on social networks, where the young man published a gratitude message with regard to all those who supported his cause: citizens, media, and responsible. “This right, I did not lose it because I asked for it,” he wrote, moved, welcoming the momentum of national solidarity.
This incident raises fundamental questions about securing public digital platforms, in particular during procedures as sensitive as university orientation. Confidence in the system is based on the guarantee that students’ choices cannot be altered, whether by negligence, error or malicious act.
