The first substitute for the public prosecutor at the KEF court of first instance and official spokesperson, Yosri Houami, revealed on Tuesday that a baccalaureate student, failed in examination this year, is at the heart of a case of manipulation of the university orientation system.

The latter ordered the opening of judicial information for falsification, voluntary alteration of electronic data and modification of official online documents, in accordance with articles 172 and 175 of the penal code and article 23 of the decree-law n ° 54 on cybercrime.
The investigating judge issued eight deposit mandates against the respondent, corresponding to eight separate charges. Each offense is liable to ten years’ imprisonment, which brings the potential penalty to 80 years old.
The student claims to have pursued any particular objective through these acts. The investigation continues.
Students victims of computer handling
Twelve graduates from the KEF governorate were oriented towards sectors that they had not chosen, despite sufficient averages to integrate the desired curriculum. This manipulation was carried out in a cybercafé (public) after the students completed their online orientation sheets. The personal data of the students have been modified without their consent, redirecting them to unwanted training.
The Ministry of Higher Education, in coordination with the Ministries of Communication, Digital Economy and Education Technologies, has opened an investigation concerning these irregularities. The prosecutor of the KEF first instance court ordered the opening of an investigation into suspicions of manipulation of university orientation cards.
