This Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the center of the digital hospital of the Ministry of Health launched the first dermatological consultations remotely. Patients from the Ben Guerdane Regional Hospital (Medenine) and the local Chebika (Kairouan) hospital can now benefit from this service.
Distance internal medicine consultations continued for Chebika patients. Dr. Sami Fneish and Dr. Huda Hammami ensured the teleconsultations in dermatology. DRE FATMA DAOUD has taken care of patients in internal medicine from hospital services at Habib Thamer University.
This experience has connected two establishments simultaneously. It marks an important step in the digitization of the Tunisian health system. The project facilitates access to care in distant regions and promotes the expertise of doctors while using modern technologies.
