The bilateral agreement between Tunisia and Italy concerning the mutual recognition of driving licenses for their exchange will officially come into force July 20, 2025The Tunisia Embassy in Rome announced on Monday on Monday.
In a press release published on its Facebook page, the embassy said that Entry into application of this agreement follows its ratification by legislative bodies of the two countries.
ARP had approved this text May 13, 2025through a fundamental law on the approval of the agreement relating to mutual recognition of driving licenses between Tunis and Rome.
This agreement represents a concrete advance for Tunisians residing in Italy, who will now be able to exchange their Tunisian driving license for an Italian permit without having to iron, and vice versa. A long -standing measure that will facilitate the mobility and integration of nationals in the two countries.
