Under the slogan “Live the moment … Live the moment Tunisia”, the Ministry of Tourism launched last night, a national promotion campaign for European tourism markets in 16 countries, in 14 different languages.
This campaign will be broadcast through digital media, the media, digital displays in stations, metros, large streets, commercial spaces and airports. It was prepared by the Tunisian National Tourism Office as part of an international call for tenders over a period of two and a half months.
The Minister of Tourism, Sofiane Taqia, who supervised the launch of the campaign in the presence of the Governor of Manouba, of several ambassadors and representatives of European diplomatic missions in Tunisia, stressed that this advertising initiative, which returns after five years of interruption, aims to prepare a return in force of Tunisia as a sought -after tourist destination, in particular for the European market, with the objective of welcoming 11 million visitors during the season Tourist 2025. This will be achieved thanks to the enhancement of a diversified and rich tourist offer.
He also insisted on the importance of making the less known tourist products known, especially after studying changes in the tourist market and constantly evolving dynamics, requiring the presence of Tunisia in this sector. This implies a strengthening of efforts to promote the tourism offer, by operating the country’s security and political stability, as well as the improvement of services in its airports and tourist establishments, which will work this season according to overall quality standards.
In a declaration to the media, he added that the campaign also aims to strengthen the attractiveness of the Tunisian destination, and to consolidate its presence in international fairs.
It will be accompanied by additional measures in terms of flights operated by the Tunisian airline and many foreign airlines, the number of which increases, with an intensification of activities at Tunisian airports, notably in Tabarka, Tozeur and Djerba, as well as the increase in the capacity of accommodation in Tabarka, Ain Draham and Tozeur, in collaboration with hoteliers, Travel agencies and various professional associations.
