This program is part of the “Qualitative Employment” (CQE) project. Launched in February 2022, it aims to modernize Tunisian industry. The project helps companies become more competitive and better manage their energy consumption.
A total of 45 people from the public and private sector followed this training. Among them, 25 obtained an official certification. In addition, 22 industrial companies have received support to set up an energy management system in accordance with the ISO 50001 standard.
The Minister stressed the importance of training national experts. These experts will help companies improve their energy efficiency. She also praised everyone’s effort to build a sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial future.
The ISO 50001 international standard is a voluntary energy management framework that helps organizations improve their energy performance, reduce their costs and greenhouse gas (GHG).
