The closing of the events marking the Tercentenary of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Austria took place on Tuesday, December 16 at the Ksar Said Palace in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.
Several members of the Diplomatic Corps were also present at this meeting which was an opportunity to present a book entitled 300 years of diplomatic relations and published by the Austrian Embassy in Tunisia.
Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti delivered a speech during which he reviewed the historical ties between our two countries and also the current status of their bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Stephan Vavrik, Austrian Ambassador to Tunisia, then took the floor to review the various events of the Tercentenary and present the publication produced by the embassy.
A panel including several authors who contributed to the work took over and allowed the audience to discover its content, mainly focused on history and cultural and economic exchanges.
Bilingual, in French and German, richly illustrated, this work has been discussed in its different aspects and enriches the Tunisian and Austrian libraries as a reference work.
