Tunisia participates in the 2025 spring 2025 meetings of the World Bank (GBM) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which are held from April 21 to 26 in Washington, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Planning published this Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
The Tunisian delegation is led by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and the governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Fethi Zouhair Nouri.
During their stay, Tunisian officials will lead interviews with several leaders of international and regional financial institutions, as well as with their counterparts from other countries.
These meetings bring together high -level government officials each year, representatives of international organizations, civil society, as well as economic and innovative experts from around the world.
Among the highlights of the event are the meeting of the development committee, that of the international monetary and financial committee, as well as various forums devoted to the global economy, sustainable development and the development of financial markets, according to the International Finance Company (IFC).
