The deputy Syrine Mrabet presented this Wednesday, July 16, 2025, her resignation from the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP). In his letter presented to the chief of the parliament the elected representative of the district of Sijoumi – -Ezouhour invoked “strictly personal reasons” to justify his decision.
Member of the al-Ahrar block and assessor in charge of communication within the ORP office, Syrine Mrabet had distinguished himself in recent months by her positions on several sensitive subjects, ranging from the reform of the electoral law to the access of women to the cryoconstry of oocytes. Her departure comes as she also occupied an active seat in the legislation committee.
Former president of the Olympic Transport Club, the first woman to have managed this historic club, she had started her parliamentary mandate in 2023 with increasing visibility, in particular thanks to her mediatized speaking.
