The Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training announced, this Monday, November 10, 2025, the launch of a new digital platform dedicated to community businesses, integrating the national register of these companies. This initiative aims to simplify creation procedures through online registration and the reduction of administrative documents required.
According to Sofiene Hmessi, Minister of Communication Technologies, who spoke at a joint press briefing with the Ministry of Employment, this platform will allow promoters to follow their files in real time, to constitute a complete database and to centralize the advantages granted to community companies, in order to ensure more transparency and administrative efficiency.
A strategic choice to support the national economy
For his part, the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoued, stressed that the issue of community companies now falls fully within his department. He specified that this type of society represents a strategic vision of the State, born as an extension of the demands of the Tunisian revolution for the right to employment and equitable development.
Chaoued added that community companies constitute a third economic path, complementary to the public and private sectors, and aim to create sustainable jobs and boost the dynamics of local development. Since the launch of this model, 230 companies have been created, of which 60 are already in the production phase.
