On the sidelines of the 34ᵉ session of the Arab Summit, which is currently being held in Baghdad, the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, met on Saturday May 17, 2025 with his Djiboutian counterpart, Abdoulkader Houssein Omar.
This interview, placed under the sign of dialogue and cooperation, allowed the two diplomatic officials to reaffirm the depth of the links which unite Tunisia and Djibouti. The discussions focused on the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations in fields deemed strategic: economy, culture, higher education, vocational training, as well as the management of port infrastructure.
Beyond these axes of cooperation, the two ministers highlighted the need to strengthen consultation between their two countries on major African questions of common interest. A shared desire to make a coordinated voice heard on the regional and continental scene.
