The National Society of Water Operating and Distribution (SONEDE) reported, this Friday, August 15, 2025, a serious incident which occurred at the El Menzah 1, rue 7553, in the El Manar district.
During the repair of a damaged pipe, an individual approached the technical team. He assaulted the agents, prevented them from continuing their mission and broke a water pump.
El Manar officials immediately alerted the local authorities. They contacted the competent police station, which has drawn up a report.
Sonede firmly condemns this act. It specifies that the attack has delayed the intervention, but ensures deploying all the means to restore service as soon as possible. The company invites its subscribers to show patience and understanding.
